Installing the Avina Zoom App

This guide walks you through the process of setting up the Zoom app integration for your meeting bot.

Prerequisites

Before installing the Zoom app, ensure you have:

• A Zoom account with admin privileges

• A meeting bot account set up

• Permission to install apps in your Zoom account

Installation Steps

1. Install from Zoom Marketplace

1. Log in to your Zoom account

2. Navigate to the Zoom Marketplace

3. Search for “Avina”

4. Click “Install” on the Avina app

5. Review and accept the permissions

Using the Zoom App

​

Starting a Meeting with Bot

1. Schedule a new Zoom meeting

2. Once Avina syncs with your calendar, the Avina bot should automatically join the meeting

3. By default the meeting bot will join the waiting room. You’ll need to admit it for it to start recording your call.

Managing Bot Settings

1. Access bot settings through Zoom Apps

2. Customize notification preferences

3. Adjust automation settings

4. Configure recording options

Removing the App

If you need to uninstall the Zoom app:

1. Go to Zoom Settings

2. Navigate to Apps & Integrations

3. Find Meeting Bot in your installed apps

4. Click “Uninstall”

5. Confirm removal
